The Central Coast Adventure Challenge
The Central Coast Adventure Challenge is an adventure racing weekend held in California’s beautiful Central Coast. The two-day event includes a 2- to 5-hour sprint race, a 12-hour Dawn to Dusk adventure race and a weekend-long festival including music, food and activities for racers and non-racers alike.
Sprint race participants test their skills at kayaking, mountain biking, epic trail running and team challenges. This is a great opportunity for ambitious athletes who want to learn more about the sport of adventure racing, or experienced racers looking for another form of competition.
The Dawn to Dusk race provides a demanding day race encompassing the major disciplines found in longer events. Dawn to Dusk participants experience elements of the sprint races, as well as navigation and bigger team challenges, all while pushing their endurance to the limit.
