The Costa Rica Trophy Bike is a 3-stage mountain bike race, open to both 5-person teams and individual cyclists. The course travels from Arenal to Liberia over three days with stages that range from 70-85 kilometers in length.

The event is designed for both the elite cyclist, and the dedicated enthusiast looking to explore some of the best places in Costa Rica. But above all it is a personal challenge. Mountain bike aficionados in good physical condition will test their physical and mental strength come mid October of 2009.

The stages of the Trophy-Bike include various terrain from lush tropical jungles to steep volcanic mountains. Some participants come to win others just to finish, but all of them make new friends, retain wonderful memories, and have a chance to call themselves a finisher...
