The Dawn to Dusk on May 16th, 12-hour adventure race, is packed with new terrain, new elements and tons of fun. Starting from a secret location we introduce you to a whole new side of San Luis Obispo County. We have laid out the course to give teams the most options possible, giving slower teams the opportunity to enjoy the course highlights while at the same time challenging the fast teams. All mandatory CP’s will be printed on the maps while optional ones will need to be plotted. Look for a mix of UTM coordinates and compass directions for navigation. The supplied maps are 1:24000 NAD83.

At the finish line, look forward to a nice cold beer and a great meal from Brazilian chef Vraja Sauer who specializes in international vegan and vegetarian cuisine.

The Adventure Sprint is back, on Sunday May 17th, and is filling fast. Awesome kayaking, single track mountain biking, trail running/trekking and of course a few challenges define this year’s Adventure Sprint. This year we’re adding live music to the festival, so don’t miss it. Kayaks are included in your registration. If you’re just getting into the sport this is a great intro. The Navigation is friendly and very straight forward with marked bike and foot sections and easy map reading for the kayak portion. Are you looking for the stage race experience? Race both the Dawn to Dusk and the Sprint and the overall winning team will receive SPOT Satellite tracking units.
