TENDAO and its partners are happy to present you the first edition of this natural event, unique in Brazil.
Far from snow-covered mountains or the asphalts of marathons, the Nordeste area is situated between the Fortaleza and Sao Luis cities,
and shows its marvellous beaches, its varied nature and dunes, its sinuous paths and its mangrove swamps, its sparkling sun
and the incredible desert of the Maranheses Lençois. It is a unique, incredibly varied and gorgeously protected natural site.

There are 2 races: some two or six 60 km or 190 km long stages, more than 200 trail hikers coming from all over Europe, America and Brazil, and important communication means assured by many journalists and television channels.

This event will actually be an endurance race, a trail hiking race covered in several stages but it will also be a trip to discover one of the most beautiful areas in Brazil, called the Nordeste region situated between Fortaleza and Sao Luis.

All competitors and accompanying persons will discover sumptuous landscapes, from the most beautiful beaches in
Brazil to the incredible Lençois desert through the wild Parnaiba delta, the biggest delta in America with more than 85 islands.

Warm meals will be served to you and you will sleep every evening in small very charming hotels. You will also meet the Brazilian population and its well-known friendship.2 bivouacs will be organized in two fabulous places.
