Orienteering: Park-O #3
Good introduction to orienteering, and a fun sprint event for more experienced runners. Starts between 2:30 and 3:30 pm.
You can enter on line at the web site to ensure a map (some extras will be available on the day).
The course is run using electronic controls (SportIdent). A data stick can be hired for $4 on the day. Compasses can be borrowed. Otherwise the event is free, sponsored by BCC Active and Healthy Parks programme.
Bring water, sunscreen and hat.
