The Isotopes Racing Team are proud to present the 3rd Annual IsoSeries Adventure Race on May 29th, 2010 near Danbury NC. This 15 hour race is known as one of the toughest races in the Southeast and is an inaugural part of the Checkpoint Tracker Adventure Racing series, the premiere racing series in the US. Set as a control-point style race, the course will test racers mentally and physically as they navigate through some of the NC piedmont’s most picturesque parks and rivers. Teams participating will challenge their orienteering skills while trekking 10-15 miles through brush and up mountains. Biking will consist of 20-30 miles through hundreds of wooded acres, up some of the toughest and most scenic roads in the area, and this year, we’re introducing the areas newest and nicest singletrack park as part of the course. The paddling section will be a 10-12 mile float down one of the area’s favorite rivers. This race is a "members only" race for Trailblazers, so you must be a Trailblazer member or sign up with the race. If you're not a member, no problem! You can sign up for membership when you sign up for the race! The Trailblazers is a great AR group, and membership gives you discounts on gear, other races and introduction to a great community of people.
