The Mad Monk a gruelling 10k trail run with obstacles, featuring the “New” assault course, “New” cargo net climb and “New” balance zone. Old favourites will include the mud bank, tunnels, hurdles and the infamous river crossing....!

The Mad Monk returns to Darley Abbey for the third year, 2010 saw over 600 entries, this years event will be harder and tougher, are you up for this awesome challenge...?

The event will be held on Sunday 22nd May 2011 in the beautiful world heritage village of Darley Abbey, Derbyshire.

Run as an individual or Team of Four and enjoy, the pain, the burn, the camaraderie of the route. The adventure course will be a challenge to both your mental and physical abilities…..

Train hard, front up and come and tackle the infamous adventure course............
