3 hour fell/trail running/navigational event principally on footpaths & rights of way in & around the Peak National Park.

Hilly testing and challenging event - organised and run under standard FRA (Fell Running Association) rules.

The Challenge - visit as many control sites (each has a varying points value) as possible within 3 hours - route planning is as important as fitness. There are penalty points if you are back late! Basic navigation skills are required & these events are mainly aimed at trail or fell runners as well as orienteers, but they are also suitable for strong walkers. Control sites will be identified by red & white orienteering \"kites\" on the feature to which a SPORTident box will be attached. \"Dib\" in the SPORTident boxes at the start, finish, all controls visited & THE DOWNLOAD BOX at the end. You must use a SPORTident dibber to compete.
