The Myakka Mudslide is coming back to southwest Florida this year for the bravest of racers around. We may have made a mistake last year, for the first time event, when we highlighted the great gator population at Myakka River State Park. But as we said before, any Floridian paddler shouldn\'t be a stranger to these intimidating yet passive reptiles. And the ones who did brave the course last year, including a six-year-old, had a great time on a special day. The Mayakka turned out to be one of our favorites last year so don\'t be scared of this one. Or face your fears if you must because we feel that it\'s not adventure racing in Florida without a few gator stories. Â
