Arrow International 24 Hr Adventure Race

Richard Anderson / 02.05.2006
The Sydney race start date is SATURDAY May 13th, which is just two weeks away so you need to start planning your equipment, accommodation and support crews now. If it is cold and miserable, or hot and uncomfortable we will not postpone the race. We cannot emphasise enough the importance of warm clothing, survival equipment, food and drink.

We will once again be returning to the Del Rio Resort / Wiseman’s Ferry area. Last time we were in this area we had a real adventure with one of the most challenging bike legs we have ever delivered. Unfortunately (or lucky for some…) we will not be going over this famous bike leg again. For those who spent the night at Colo Heights petrol station in 2003, I’m sorry but we will not be passing by this time around either.

We will however be taking you over one of the best mountain biking trails in the area, and also some great flat water kayaking (you might be able to guess where). Just to make sure there is plenty of adventure we will having one short and one long foot rogain in some good Australian bush that includes trails and 4WD roads.
