SSA Announces Silicon Valley Series

Make no mistake this is not like any other Sprint series, though courses will be marked, they will lead you through some of the most challenging terrain within each park. Courses will consist of lots of off trail travel, steep hill climbs, creek bed scrambling, single track and orienteering sections hidden deep within the parks.
Each Sprint event will also be longer than standard sprint events so you are sure to get your money's worth on the course (5 hours minimum). The second Sprint event is even a USARA National Championship Qualifier for coed teams in the Premier Division (we are also working on getting our Final event qualified).
SSA will also provide $600.00 in entry fee discounts to the winning qualifying team. The USARA National Championships are in California
this season and this is one of only a few opportunities for you to qualify and compete against the best teams in the nation. As usual SSA will lead the pack with the best SWAG in adventure racing, awesome prizes which include racing jerseys, MP3 players, altimeters...And our legendary post event BBQ complete with dessert.
