Adidas Canada and SleepMonsters.ca Contest: PRIZES!
24.05.2006

Just follow the Canadian Adventure Racing Association National Adventure Racing Championships to be held May 28 to June 3, 2006 and watch for the race reports filed during the event. The race reports will be sponsored by Adidas Canada and the Sleepmonsters.ca intrepid on site reporters will be posting reports to give you direct ‘from the field’ news of race leaders, interviews with teams, race organizers and staff.
Questions will be posed throughout the race which will be included in the race reports. Read carefully and be prepared to answer challenging trivia questions that may need sleuthing or simply careful observation. Who knows, you might even need to crack a code a la ‘Da Vinci.’
Unfortunately I have had to move the trivia questions from the race reporting site to the adventure racing news due to administration issues, however I will continue with the questions.
So far, I\'ve put to you the following:
Series one:
First Question: What is the biggest nuisance racers face thus far?
Second Question: Timmins, Ontario is famous for producing over 42 National League Hockey Players: Timmins has also another very famous person that made and continues to make her mark in the entertainment industry. Who is it?
Series 2:
1)What are the \"Winged Red Cross?\"
2)Where is the highest point the racers will \'visit\' and its\' UTM grid reference?
Series 3:
1) Which team was considering a self-imposed dark zone?
2) Name one team of three continuing the second stage unranked.
New Questions, June 1, 2006
1)Survivorman Les Stroud had extra-curricular activities planned for June 1, 2006. What were they?
2) What was on the menu at CP2?
As always, the first person to email me at doug@sleepmonsters.ca will be the winner. I\'ve had huge response on this so far: keep your answers coming! It\'s great to know so many of you are following sleepmonsters.ca
Once I\'m back in Victoria, I\'ll review the email responses and publish the winners.
Doug
