Bargo Live Adventure Volume 1

We have been waiting for this day for over 10 months. We spent countless hours researching, obtaining gear, trying to find sponsors, and now it is finally here. We are excited to start climbing and want to get on the mountain as soon as possible. We will pick up a few more items in Anchorage, and will buy some more food before we leave for Talkeetna. We received quite a few stares wearing our thick down coats and mountaineering boots to the airport in the 95 degree heat of Texas. We were like marshmallow movie stars.

Devotional: “Faith is like a missing wallet”

Faith requires action, and to act you must take movements that are beyond the realm of comfort. What is faith? And what are we having faith in? Is it in ourselves, and the power of what we are able to achieve through physical and mental prowess? The only way to truly know what faith is all about is going through something that requires it. I have had several huge faith experiences, and the most recent was yesterday.
