Rush for the Rush!
Rob / 19.01.2003

This will be the 4th year of the UK’s longest and toughest race, and to complete the Rush is an ambition of many racers from Britain, and of those from much further afield. Since the very first race, held from Brian Elliot’s home town of Banbridge in N. Ireland, Adrenalin Rush has had an international reputation and over the years teams have travelled from as far away as Russia, Poland, the USA, Canada and Guatemala.
Perhaps this helps account for the early flood of applications from all over the world for this year’s race. With the purchase of more kayaks last year there are 50 places available but Adventure Sports One have already had 65 applications! Don’t worry though, teams only get a place when the deposit cheque arrives! So, there are still places available on a first come first served basis for the race which will take place between May 24th and 31st. Full details of entry procedures and application forms are on the fully updated website here.
Where it will be hasn’t yet been announced, but details will be on a joint press release distributed in 14 days by the host City, SleepMonsters.com and Asportsone.com. You’ll have to wait until then to find out where it will be.
