Australian Great Ski-Athon, Perisher/Blue Cow NSW

Open to all, teams or individuals, this is a great opportunity to have some fun in the snow while raising money for a great cause, unlike Trailwalker you wont be walking up these hills, and you will be skiing down them, so how hard could it be.

This is one event where the 100m rule doesnt apply, the aim is to ski as many kilometres as possible, some tips to take into account:

If you’re in a team, whether you’ll ski together or split up to maximise your average distance

The speed of various chair lifts

Queue lengths on the day for chair lifts (queue jumping is strictly forbidden)

The most direct route between checkpoints with respect to the distance we have calculated

With snow forecast for the weekend there should be perfect conditions for having a great time, with $5000+ in prizes and giveaways on offer as well there is no reason not to enjoy yourselves.

So get your team together or enter as an individual. Ski or board as far as you can in three hours between check points around the Blue Cow area at Perisher Blue. Start time is 10am.

Entry fee is just $125 for a team of two or three and $50 for individuals. Perisher Blue have also made available an offer of 50% off the day lift pass ticket on the day of the Ski-athon.
