The event started in 1991 and since then has seen a massive following, with a regular turn up of young and old faces.
Can Stu Adams and Narelle Ash retain their titles, or can they be toppled from the podium, with river levels at a reasonable level, any drop would certainly favour the front runners, and especially Stu who knows the river like the back of his hand, and would use the lower level to his advantage to to get a break on any contenders who were still close after the MTB.
The Race involves a 22km MTB, although the first 6k or so is bitumen and resmebles a stage of the tour de france with the peleton of riders jostling for position while making there way out to the start of the dirt at Stanton\'s Farm, from here its farm tracks up and over the Bucketts to the Barrington East rd and before a great little descent down the Barrington West rd to Rocky Crossing and the start of the kayak leg.
