Seven Marathons; Seven States; Seven Days!

Paul Tinkler / 20.09.2006
One of Australia’s most iconic endurance athletes, Andrews was one of the pioneers of Iron Man racing, and has been a dominant force on both the triathlon and multisport racing circuits in recent years.

\"I have toed the line in more than 2000 races, some big, some small but The North Face Endurance Seven is something that scares me as much as inspires me. I can’t wait to face my fear and tackle this challenge head on!\" says Guy Andrews.

The routes of The North Face Endurance Seven will be navigated by GPS and be off road tracks, taking some of the most spectacular and diverse scenery in Australia. The progression of the event is QLD, NT, WA, SA, TAS, VIC, NSW, with Guy tackling a different state each day. Covering in excess of 295 km in seven days, this is a superhuman event that has never been attempted in Australia before.

Andrews says the inspiration for the event came from his experience in endurance sports, and his desire to motivate other athletes of all levels to push boundaries of their experience and undertake new challenges.
