Racing in teams of two for $60,000 in prizes, competitors will pass many of Victoria’s most famous sights, including the Bay of Islands, the Twelve Apostles and the Great Ocean Road coastline and surf beaches. If competitors are concerned about getting through 5 days of hard core racing, dont be, the race is suited to a broad range of competitor and the format is ideal.
The 5-day journey will be broken into four stages, giving competitors some rest between each stage
The field is limited to 100 teams, and as part of Keen’s association with the Keen Adventure Race, all competitors will receive a free pair of Keen shoes valued at $200 per pair.
Race Director and world champion Adventure Racer John Jacoby has spent the past 18 months designing a unique course which will appeal to the world’s best, incorporating Australia’s wild coastlines, surf beaches, bush lands and rainforests.
