The air has taken on a chilly bite, mountain bikes and kayaks have been replaced by snowboards, skate skis and snowshoes and the minimal layering system is now discarded for full on skin, mid layer and outer layering for our winter outdoor endurance training.

While Canadian Adventure Racing season has come to an end, that doesn’t mean the hard working and enterprising Sleepmonsters.ca crew isn’t looking out for our dedicated adventure racers who would rather brave the chilly environs of our vast winter playground than hibernate and cocoon with your favourite AR team mate.

Oh no, we need to keep your synapses firing over the next few months and how better than to tempt and tease you with another contest that will guarantee a renewed commitment to adventure racing by ‘gearing you up’ with swag and freebie race entry fees.
