There are 10 race days in the DAR calendar including two brand new venues and the Endurance events will now be held on Saturdays, with the Challenge events on Sundays. The full programme is;
January 27th & 28th - Dorset Hills
Time to start shifting those 5 extra pounds you gained over Christmas with the first DAR of the year! The rolling Dorset Hills are a new location for AR with spectacular views and fantastic countryside, waiting to be discovered.
March 24th & 25th – The New Forest
In March the venue is the ever-popular New Forest, the home of DAR and a location that should not to be underestimated. With a fast course, accurate navigation is essential and its not as flat as you might think. Beware, the animals have right of way!
May 12th & 13th - Wye Valley
This is yet another great, new location. Tom Gibbs, one of the most successful and best-known UK racers will be the guest course planner for this weekend. An event not to be missed!
October 6th & 7th – The South Downs
The South Downs is where DAR finished the 2006 season and they return a little earlier in 2007, hoping to avoid the torrential rain and gales of 2006!
December 1st & 2nd – The North Downs
To round off the year it’s time to go back to an old favourite. The North Downs has a great balance of steep hills, challenging navigation and some superb views to the south, once you have climbed the hills first!
For full information see www.dynamicadventureracing.co.uk. Most races filled up last year so don’t leave it too late to enter.
