The newly formed Multi Terrain Bike Orienteers Club, or MTBO, will be the first club in Queensland to focus specifically on promoting, organizing and encouraging participation in Mountain Bike Orienteering events.
The new club will operate under the umbrella of Orienteering Queensland (OQ) and will work alongside existing foot orienteering clubs. In 2007 a series of 8 events are to be held in South East Queensland, culminating with the QLD MTBO Championships.
Special memberships at a reduced rate are available to encourage riders of all levels to join up and enjoy the challenge of MTBO.
