Arctic KIMM Relaunched as Icebug24
Rob Howard / 31.01.2007

The race is based in the resort town of Hemavan in Northern Sweden (the base for last years ARWC2007) is now called the Icebug24.
New sponsor Icebug make a range of racing and winter footwear with a unique stud system designed for exceptional grip and is endorsed by Bjorn Rydvall of the Lundhags Adventure team among others.
The race will retain its classic 2-day mountain marathon class, with an estimated total winning time of 6 hours and this has a first prize in mens, womens and mixed classes of 5,000sek (about £360) in the form of a training stipendiary.
The new attraction is the chance to rogaine in the wide-open spaces of Northern Sweden and with the race taking place on the last weekend in July there will only be a few hours of darkness to contend with. This event is for pairs and the first prize is an impressive training stipendiary of 24,000sek (£1750).
A new website will soon be open at www.icebug24.com which will contain more information and registration details. You can find out more about Icebug at www.icebug.se
