Sault College Adventure Challenge

About the event:
Racing non stop over 30 to 40 km of wilderness terrain using mountain bikes, canoes and trekking all while only using a map and compass the teams challenge their limits, teamwork and their knowledge of the out doors. The race has been designed by internationally acclaimed designer Lawrence Foster and will be run with over 10 years of safety and experience from Frontier Adventure Racing.
Dates
Saturday May 5th – FREE Adventure Racing workshops given by Canada’s best adventure racers and former Olympic athletes.
Sunday May 6th – Race
Location: Huntsville, Ontario
Who can enter: Teams consist of three high school students in one of the following categories: Mixed / Male / Female. (Recommended ages are from 15 to 18). There can be multiple teams from the same high school.
Cost: 300.00 per team of three.
Free Entries
There will be a limited number of free entries available on March 20th at 10:00 AM and again on April 17th at 10:00AM. These will be distributed on a first come first serve basis, limited to one FREE entry per school. These free entries are designed to help teams from more remote locations in Ontario get to the race and also help teams who cannot raise the entry fee themselves. If you do not need the free entry please leave the free spot for a team in need.

Volunteer
We are looking for people to help out at the event and have many positions to be filled. If you are looking for your own adventure come out and join the fun.
