2007 Berghaus Polaris Challenge

As heavy rains fell over the east coast race race organiser Huw Kingston found himself in his words \"supping with the devil\" and riding his road bike,a rarity he asures us.

This years Berghaus Polaris Challenge happens on March 10th and 11th, with the exact location announced this friday, but in brief 2.5hrs out of Sydney and some 9hrs out of Melbourne, thus making it around the corner from Huws\' place :), but maybe not. I have been pouring over the maps to try and find a clue as to the location.

In Huws\' words the name of the event centre should ensure fine weather, and reminds those intrepid MTBrs out there of \"Sunny Corner\" and \"Pretty Beach\", although i missed the latter i am sure it was pretty, but having done \"Sunny Corner\" i seem to recall it was anything but sunny.

This lead me to the conclusion and dare i say look for somewhere called \"The Ass hole of the World\" because this is sure to ensure fine weather for all concerned.
