Raid Series Website Move
Rob / 13.01.2004

At the moment both are operating and while they don’t look much different there is more up-to-date information on the year ahead on the news address. This includes all the series calendar dates on a smart graphic on the home page (though full details are still come) and entry information.
You can download regulations and a registration form and there’s a forum, though the only thread that’s got going at all yet is “Seeking Teams/Raidersâ€. (There’s a UK national kayaker on there looking for team. Someone should poach him for Hebridean Challenge quick.)
All the old archives seem to have moved across, including last year’s team profiles, and it’s going to be interesting to see which teams register for the year ahead and who makes it to the Raid World Championship Final in Argentina. (In case you wondered www.raidgauloises.com is still up and has all the historic coverage of previous races.)
The change is obviously in progress (the forum is still on the old site, and the contact addresses are @raidseries.com), but bookmark the new address now to keep up with news on the series and final, which will span 5 continents. You can sign up for their newsletter while you are there.
