Primal Quest 2008 Registration opens .. and closes!

Primal Quest will take place June 21 - July 2, 2008 in a US western state.

While the exact location of next year’s Primal Quest Expedition Adventure Race is still a secret, we are happy to announce the 2008 race dates.

Between June 21 and July 2, 2008 (dates to be confirmed) seventy-five co-ed teams of racers will take part in the World’s Most Challenging Human Endurance Competition.

Primal Quest is an environmentally friendly, ecologically aware wilderness Expedition Adventure Race®. Teams of experienced back country adventure athletes journey across expansive terrain using only a map, a compass and combined skills. Successfully finishing requires much more than stamina and mental fortitude. It requires selfless teamwork, spirit and absolute determination.

Only co-ed teams of four are permitted to race. Team members are required to travel together at all times and must finish together in order to be officially ranked. Over $100,000 in Cash and Prizes will be awarded to the top finishing teams.

· Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited to 75 teams.
· Open to 4-Person, Coed Teams.
· Online application to be submitted on or after July 1st, 2007.
· The cost of entry is $12,500.00 USD per team, which includes 4 team members and 2 support individuals.
· A deposit of $2,500.00 USD will be required with your application. Only certified checks or money orders accepted at this time. To confirm your entry, the deposit must be postmarked within 7 days after the submission of the online application and mailed to Primal Quest, 103 Marina Point, Williamsburg, VA 23188. If this deposit is not received within the proper post-mark deadline, your application will be forfeited.
· The remaining balance of $10,000 USD is due no later than November 1st, 2007, or your entry will be forfeited.
· Cancellations prior to November 1, 2007 will incur a $500 USD penalty. No refunds will be allowed after this date.
· The registration process is complete when each accepted team has paid their entire $12,500 USD in full no later than November 1. Additional forms and skill certificates will be due at a later date.
· We reserve the right to refuse entry to any participant.
