USARA National Champions to Battle It Out at The Berryman Adventure
Press Release / 25.07.2007

The Berryman Adventure, located in the rugged Ozark Mountains of Southern Missouri, is known as the premier adventure race in the Midwest. Offering two separate courses, a 36-Hour course and a 12-Hour course, the seventh running of the Berryman Adventure will test the endurance and determination of even the most accomplished adventure athletes.
Racers can expect to paddle nationally protected spring-fed rivers, mountain bike on the beautiful Ozark Trail and cover ground on foot that is steep, rugged and will result in some fantastic bluff-top views. The Berryman Adventure is completely unsupported, and all racers should come prepared for tough navigation and a very demanding course.
Race Headquarters is located at the National Park Service\'s Big Spring Park, near Van Buren, Missouri. The Ozarks are world famous as an area of exceptional caves and springs. Over 300 of each are known in the park. Several springs, such as Big Spring, Alley Spring, and Blue Spring are among America\'s largest.
