Next Generation of Athletes

The Junior Spirit event will be held on Saturday at 3pm, six of the local primary schools along with plenty of others up and down the coast have been competing in various inter school challenges for the past three months set by the National Australia Bank and the excitement is building - this is going to be huge!

The event is proudly supported by NAB and is loosely based around the sport of adventure racing. The course has been designed especially for kids aged between 6 and 13 and will lead participants around a loop filled with obstacles involving climbing, running, wading, sliding and clambering - all starting and finishing at the Anaconda Adventure Race Expo on Forster Main Beach. The atmosphere will be excellent with hundreds of people there to clap and cheer making this is an event kids will never forget.

The Junior Spirit is all about participation and it is being generously supported by the National Australia Bank, the YMCA, Dairy Farmers, Great Lakes Cycles, Hogs Breath Café, the Great Lakes Advocate, Gnomes landscaping and of course Great Lakes Tourism & Council.
