Chilean racer Verónica Bravo returns to competition
Jacqueline Windh / 19.10.2007

Swelling due to the injury kept her in Punta Arenas for months after the accident, unable to risk boarding a flight home to Santiago due to the risk of further swelling. It was many months more before she was able to even walk again.
“A year and five months after my accident in Patagonia, and also after having taken part in the Reality Show “Pelotónâ€, I am returning to competition. I am anxious to yell out a ‘Viva Chile!’†she explains.
Verónica is now in Brazil, preparing to compete in the ARWS event EcoMotion Pro, alongside her Rockford Chile teammates Juan Valdés, Américo Solar, and Argentinian Daniel Pincu.
“If you ask me why I am back seeking out adventure... I find the answer in nature itself, in the human desire to be an explorer and adventurer which makes us want to discover the world, push beyond our own limits, no matter what the obstacles are, no matter how far the distances. It’s always looking for that feeling of challenging yourself, to do what you never thought you could actually do.â€
SleepMonsters welcomes Verónica back to the competitive circuit.
