Doggies at the Beach
AROC Sport / 20.11.2007

They will be facing very different challenges to the ones they’re used to: coasteering along the rocky shore, mountain biking, kayaking, and running on hilly trails and through the bush. They will also need to use a map and compass to find the checkpoints disseminated in the area, tools they normally don’t need to find the opposing team’s goal line.
The Dogs are entering the Classic Course and for the fastest of them, are hoping to get upgraded to the Advanced Course with its bonus leg. For participants who’ve done adventure racing before or for those ready to tackle the whole adventure, the Classic Course is definitely the way to go.
There is also a Novice Course available that doesn\'t include as many hills and is only half the distance of the Classic Course for participants who don’t feel quite fit enough, or trying adventure racing for the first time.
