While the nation goes into election mode this saturday, for over 600 people the election will be the furthest thing from their minds, the only thing Liberal out there will be the intake of fluid, sports drink or water of course and the only thing Labour will be just that, the labour involved in getting to the checkpoints,and since the entries have been closed off those feeling a bit Green having missed out will have to wait till next year.

Reflecting how popular this format of event is, it has more than trippled in size since its inception.

The event will kick off in Darling Harbour and competitors have been promised a fun and exctiment packed course.

Basically teams have 6 hrs to collect all the checkpoints (in the racing category) or 10 checkpoints (in the social category), in previous years teams have completed the variuos tasks well under the 6 hrs, but don\'t be fooled others have found themselves getting back just shy of the 6 hr cutoff to avoid further penalties.
