The North Face 100
AROC Sport - Diane Chanut / 03.12.2007

Set in the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains, competitors are faced with a gruelling 100km run over varied and unforgiving terrain, building to 4,500m of total elevation gain – half the height of Mount Everest! Starting and finishing in Leura, the course offers spectacular views of cliffs, valleys, mountains, bush and rock formations. Highlights include the Pool of Siloam, Olympian Rock, Prince Henry Cliff Walk, Wentworth Falls lookout and of course, views on the iconic Three Sisters.
With a cut-off time of 30 hours, this event is not for the faint hearted. On 17-18 May 2008, runners will line up, putting themselves to the test to see if they’ve got what it takes to complete this strenuous yet breathtaking course. Commencing by day with runners battling it out through the night, participants completing it in under 20 hours will claim serious bragging rights, earning a place in The North Face 100 elite club. The question is: are you tough enough!
