Registration Open for the City of Woodstock Goldrush 24 YMCA Adventure Race

Registration is now open for the City of Woodstock Goldrush 24 YMCA Adventure Race to be held August 2-3, 2008. Cherokee Outdoor YMCA will once again play host for the race and be the central transition area. The first 14 teams will get free lodging for the race (Friday-Monday). Proceeds from the race go to benefit the YMCA Teen Adventure Leadership Program.

Teams can expect to utilize their skill in trekking, mountain biking, navigation, swimming and coasteering. The course design team are also working diligently to have some distinctive ropework for the race.

The race is a USARA Sanctioned event as well as a Regional Qualifier for the GoLite USARA Adventure Race National Championships. Teams of 2 or 3 will compete for cash and prizes. All racers will earn an official Goldrush award, still to be determined, and the ever popular swag bag.
