Destination Unknown: Expedition New Zealand Entries Open

Entries for Destination Unknown: Expedition New Zealand are now open and close on 15th March 2008. Teams that intend to compete must complete the waiver that is available on the event website and send it in, together with the first payment instalment.

Entries will be strictly limited to 40 teams and the event will be filled on a ‘first come, first served basis’. 15 places are reserved for international teams based on interest received to date and if the race is oversubscribed a wait list will be established. (All entries will be confirmed as they are received.)

The Event Organisers strongly recommend that international teams arrange for appropriate travel insurance including medical assistance, evacuation back to place of residence and ongoing medical treatment. In the event of a medical emergency during the event Destination Unknown: Expedition New Zealand will arrange for those affected to be taken to the nearest public hospital. From that point onwards competitors will be expected to have their own cover and support arranged.
