Adventure Racing returns to the Huntsville Region!
Geoff Langford / 17.04.2008

Following the incredible success of the first High School Adventure Challenge last year, it will be back for an encore this year. On Sunday, organizers anticipate 75 teams of high school students will converge on Deerhurst to push their limits and discover what they are capable of as they tackle a multisport race course in teams of three.
"If Mother Nature behaves anything like last year, this spring racers can count on both the weather and an always great, classic Muskoka experience,†said Deerhurst Director of Sports Mark O’Dell. “The rugged terrain around Deerhurst is an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise. This setting combines with the fun, challenging courses Frontier creates for a don’t-miss-it event that will be part of your story long after race day.â€
Frontier builds events to satisfy all levels of racers – from elite competitors to the first-time racer. The 35km course is achievable by anyone with a basic level of fitness, but an Advanced Course option provides the hard-core competitor with roughly another 10km of additional challenge and adventure. Teams of three can be all-male, all-female, or coed. All the details are online at www.fastadventures.com.
