Never-before seen crowds gather on the Wallarah Peninsula

The course is different from last year’s and will keep competitors on their toes, paddling, mountain biking and running for 3-6 hours for the Classic Course and for 1-3 hours for the Novice Course.
There will be 3 starts, one at 9AM for the Novice Course and two for the sold-out Classic Course (9.15AM and 10.30AM), so participants will be spread out on the course!
The mountain biking is just awesome especially in the wet with a maze of tracks to maneuver through in some nice bush and forest. Because of these past few week’s rain, the terrain will be muddy, which is sure to make for interesting face painting contest at the finish line!
The event headquarters is based at Stockland’s Murray’s Beach, a new ecological residential development on the shores of Lake Macquarie, and there will be a BBQ after the race held there.
For the End of Season Party head to Rafferty’s Resort starting 7PM and come celebrate a year full of adventures! Hang by the pool, sip on a cocktail and share race stories of the day and this past summer, news and plans for the season to come with fellow AROC’ers!
