Terra Traverse postponed

Jacqueline Windh / 04.08.2008
Terra Traverse, co-organized by AR racing legend Ian Adamson, has been postponed until summer 2008.

The inaugural edition of TT was to take place this coming October 4 to 10, in northeastern Quebec. The format was to be what Ian calls an "expedition journey" - a six-day staged race, which means that less experienced and slower teams have the chance to race side-by-side with the top teams in the world (rather than see them only at the start-line and then be left in their dust in the first few hours of the week-long event!).

The Terra Traverse website is already accepting registrations for the summer 2009 event (maximum 75 mixed-sex teams of 4), and registration is $5000. Organizers promise more information soon.
