8 Hr MTB Race comes to Brisbane

Entries are open through the website and are already flooding in. The event is looking to be very popular so get your entry in!
The track will include parts of the renowned Insomnia 24hr course and will be approximately 10km long. It is characterized as easy to moderate difficulty with gentle undulations and wide passing lanes. Teams will complete laps relay style and the most laps is the winner.
The existing single track is currently being enhanced. Organisers aim for one of the best endurance racing tracks in the country! To re-assure competitors at the recent Insomnia 24hr, the section of track that became overly muddy in the rain has now been removed! There is a track building day scheduled in mid September to make the track even better and volunteer builders can receive a free entry to the event.
