World Champs Team List Complete
Rob / 01.05.2004

The final 8 teams have been selected by Race Director Geoff Langford from a long waitlist to complete an entry of 60 teams – and the additions make it one of the most international and competitive races ever. Between them the final entries have won many expedition races and the Raid Series, and competed in all of the big races around the world.
The lucky teams who have just found out they are going to Newfoundland are:
The North Face (UK) - Winners of Adrenalin Rush and 4 Winds USA Supreme
Les Quechua Les Arcs (France) - Winners of the 2003 Raid Series
Reebok (Sweden) - Winners of Raid Ukatak and including the organizers of World Series qualifier race Explore Sweden.
Canyonero (Canada) - One of Canada\'s most experienced teams
Hafke Legal Services (US)- A strong American team who have raced in the Canadian wilderness extensively
Hooked on the Outdoors (US) - Canadians and Americans together, with EcoChallenge and Primal Quest finishes under their belts
Morpheus (US) - A team with EcoChallenge, Southern Traverse, and Raid Gauloises experience
Tally-Ho! (Wales) - A team of US Welsh expats with top ten finishes at Southern Traverse, Appalachian Extreme, and Beast of the East.
These teams will join a line up of the world\'s best, including Montrail (US), Nokia (Finland), and Nike ACG Balance Bar (US), at the start line in Western Newfoundland, Canada for one of the most highly anticipated events of the AR season.
Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Finland, France, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden, the U.K. and the U.S. are now represented and teams will compete over 6 days and a 500km course for $100,000 in prize money. And of course the title of ‘World Champions’.
