Look out Schoolies theres going to be a Raid

An area synonymous with having a good time is the venue for the Gold Coast Raid.

A new event for the area, sure there will be people running around all over the place but it won\'t be the schoolies that usually make the news headlines. This time its Adventure Racers hitting the Gold Coast in hordes on September 21st.

Racers are invited to bring family and freinds and enjoy the whole weekend on the Gold Coast.

Raider’s wits, team work and resolve will be tested to the limit with sponsors such as the Gold Coasts newest attraction, the Haunted House, joining in the fun with special spooky tasks.

The race will start and end at Circle on Cavill in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Teams of two will need to build, negotiate, dig, manipulate and innovate to complete 7 out of 8 Maxi Raid challenges and 9 out of 12 Mini Raid challenges. The gun hoe teams are expected to take just under 3 hours to complete the event while those preferring to savor the experience and move at a more sedate pace have up to 6 hours to finish. The race is open to young and old, fit and not so fit and is a great excuse to get out an explore the Gold Coast.

Part scavenger hunt, part amazing race it will be an awesome day out for all.
