What have Jeremy Clarkson, Terry Wogan and Team Saab Salomon got in common? .... You’ll never figure it out unless you saw May 9th’s issue of The Sunday Times Magazine, which featured them all.

The UK’s top team has made it onto the pages of that most prestigious Sunday glossy, and on the opening editorial pages too.

They are pictured ‘hanging out’ in all the right kit – which their sponsors will surely love – on the fastforward page, where adventure racing is tipped as ‘The Next Big Thing’. The timing of publication was set to coincide with the first of the X-adventure series races in Morocco.

Morgan Donnelly, Pete James, Helen Jackson and Tom Gibbs represented the squad and went down to the London studio of photographer Clive Arrowsmith, who came up with this memorable picture.

... it may take them a while to live down the small print though; “Make Up: Jonanna Bernacka using Clinique.” Watch out for their next modelling assignment in the 2005 Salomon catalogue.
