Prizes Galore at WAR

The Annual Wasatch Adventure Race (WAR), to be held in Utah at the end of August, have announced ARGear.com as their new sponsor, and some impressive incentives to enter.

First of these is $10,000 worth of gear in prizes from ARgear.com – for one 24 hour race! The site, which provided some prizes last year, has just about everything an adventure racer could need, and with such a big prize pool there will be something for every stage win and the winners in all categories.

Organisers High Mountain Productions are also running a prize draw to give away 50 free entries. They want at least one team from every US State to be in the start line up, and anyone making an early entry in will go into the sweepstake for a free place.

The race are also looking for volunteers at the moment ... hoping to deal with a big entry. The event is a USARA National qualifier and is now in it’s 4th year. It has categories for solo races, plus pairs and 3 person teams, and will cover over 80 miles from Provo, Utah between August 27th and 29th.
