Rat Race 2009: the Rats are back in town!

They will storm gym classes with their bike helmets on, flip pancakes with more or less style, puzzle over a game of scrabble at a trendy cafe or run up a climbing wall, in no particular order. Mixing Canberra’s urban background with surrounding bushland, the Rat Race is perfect to discover and experience the Capital City like never before.

A cross between The Amazing Race and a scavenger hunt, this point-score adventure is super friendly and loads of fun with teams completing lots of challenges at their own rhythm. Because teams can create their own adventure by deciding which challenges they will attempt and how far and how hard they will go, this event caters for experienced adventure racers as well as complete novices. There is even a choice between the Rat Race which gives teams 12 hours to gather as many points as possible or the Mouse Chase, with only 6 hours to go.
