2009 Salomon Tre-X Off Road Triathlon Champs

This will be a memorable event staged at an awesome private property with natural bushland and an expansive lake that is more than 500m in length. The event includes a diverse range of fast flowing mountain bike tracks, single tracks and open fire trails that will make for a course that is designed for speed and endurance.

Race HQ will be based at the scenic area on the banks of the lake. With a purpose built stage, Race HQ will provide a fantastic central base with great views for spectators as well. Camping will also be available on the Saturday night.

The champs event is the culmination of the 2008/09 Series and will be held on the 8th of March, 2009. The long course event includes:
1000m swim
25km Mountain Bike
10km Trail Run

And as always there is something for everyone at the Salomon Tre-X Series with the Short Course & Teaser Events including:

10km Mountain Bike
4km Trail Run

Teaser Course

150m Swim
4km Mountain Bike
1km Trail Run


The Salomon Tre-X Champs is the showcase event for the In 2 Adventure Weekend Dirt Fest held on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th of March, which also includes:
40km Solo XC Mountain Bike
Active Stride 6km Trail Run and 2km Fun Run
Race Elements Dirt Crits

For those of you who like to get familiar with the course before race day, we will also be hosting one of our very popular Course Familiarisation Days, on Saturday 28th of February.
