Back for the 7th edition, Adventure Race Slovenia is part of the new AREuroSeries

Adventure Race Slovenia is back for its 7th edition, this June 19-21. The race, which has been running anually since 2003, is part of the new AREuroSeries, which also includes six other races taking place in Sweden, Ukraine, Poland and Russia (www.areuroseries.com).

Race Director Peter Vrckovnik and Course Planner: Andrej Bracic will be offering routes in two different categories:
Rover - 160 km route for teams of two
Explorer - 270 km route for teams of four

Disciplines for both categories include trekking, mountain bike, caving, swimming, kayaking, canyoning, roller-blading, ropes, and orienteering. Last year’s vistors were, in the Explorer class, Czech team Alpinepro/Nutrend/Merida (Barbora Bohata, Jiri Lorenz, Petr Bloudek and Tomaš Vanek) and in the Rover class Slovenian team OK SG (Joc Koprivnikar and Damjan Sekuti).

This is a very affordable race, at 250€ (Rover) and 500€ (Explorer), that promises to pass through some spectacular countryside. Registration is now open. For more info, visit:
