Geocentric - diving in head first

Rosi / 04.06.2004
3 years ago Adventure Racing in Australia was generally one of those things that some people had seen on tellie - thanks to Mark Burnett\'s Ecochallenge - but most didn\'t know of any races they could do themselves.

Today, after 2 highly successful editions of the Geoquest 48 hour Adventure Race, we are looking forward to the third version, promising to be bigger and better than ever, in just over a weeks time. The majority of the strongest teams in the country (along with plenty of first timers) are turning up to have a crack at the title (or to just finish) ensuring it is likely to be the most hotly contested race yet.

So – back to the organisers. Quiet, unassuming, ready to listen to suggestions, but strong enough to forge ahead despite the doubters, happy to dive in head first and see what comes. What makes them tick?. . .
