Vancouver Island Quest

Originally from Vancouver Island, Jen has dreamt of being the first to tackle the Island in a non-stop route and draw attention to what she truly believes is Beautiful British Columbia. Having participated in endurance events around the globe, Jen believes there is still no better place to embrace adventure and explore than on the Island. The route will take Jen and her crew, a small group of ultra runners and adventure racers from the Island and mainland, on a rugged journey from north to south. Vancouver Island’s most well known parks and trails are part of the route and include (in order) the Cape Scott Trail, Strathcona Provincial Park, the West Coast Trail and Juan de Fuca Trail. Jen will mountain bike the logging roads in between these legendary green spaces to link the entire route together.
Jen is an ambassador for impossible2Possible (i2p), a non-profit organization that strives to inspire youth to protect the environment through global adventure. As a role model for youth and in particular young females, Jen looks forward to speaking to school groups and using footage obtained on this expedition for future inspirational presentations. 1iOpen Productions will be filming and documenting this expedition as it unfolds from start to finish.
