Sunchaser Challenge to Help Endangered Species
News Release / 18.01.2010

Whether you want to push yourself to the limit and compete against some of the nation’s most hardened competitors or if you just fancy a fun and active day with a difference- Sunchaser Challenge is for you.
This exciting and unique fundraising event is made up of four challenges – one in each of the different time zones on mainland United States - with one united aim to raise awareness of the plight of rare animals under threat of extinction ... what better excuse do you need to get away for a weekend of pure unadulterated sport? (Endangered Species Day is 21st May 2010).
The 4 Sunchaser locations are:
Lake Saranac, NY (4 hours drive from NYC, Boston, Montreal and Toronto)
Lake Geneva, Wisconsin (1 hour drive from Chicago and Milwaukee)
Lake Havasu, Arizona (3 hour drive from Phoenix, Flagstaff and Las Vegas)
Lake Tahoe, California (3 hour drive from San Francisco)
Teams and solos will run, bike, kayak and use basic navigation skills in some of America’s most spectacular scenery to “rescue†50 endangered species from a series of checkpoints. Winners in several categories will receive eco-adventure vacations, luxury resort holidays, sports equipment and other prizes.
Registration is now open for this once in a lifetime challenge but places are limited. To become a Sunchaser simply log onto to www.sunchaserchallenge.com for more information.
We all have a role to play in helping protect endangered species – because once they are gone, we cannot bring them back.
