Forster Showdown
Rapid Ascent / 12.03.2010

In many people’s eyes the Forster race is a fitting finale for Australia’s largest adventure racing series as the race extends over two days and the landscape in and around the Great Lakes Region that surrounds the township is amongst the most spectacular around.
This is a course that will see competitors paddling on lakes and oceans in crystal clear water past hidden beaches and rocky headlands, running through rainforests and along spectacular coastlines, swimming through protected waters whilst watching schools of fish below you and mountain biking on ultra fun trails that wind through the topical wilderness all around you. This course is about as good as they get.
Taking place over May 1st and 2nd competitors can choose to either race The Full Anaconda’ and compete on both days, or just race on Sunday with ‘The Anaconda Half’ for an easier effort. Both events are open to individuals or relay teams of up to 4 where you do one leg each.
