Event: The inaugural Anaconda Adventure Race Waihi
When: Anzac Saturday 24th April 2010
Where: Anzac Bay (start),Waihi Beach and Waihi township (finish)
What: Teams or individual multisport adventure race consisting of:
1.6km Ocean swim
14km Ocean kayak
13km Coastal trail run
26km Mountain bike
2km team run
Teams – 2, 3 or 4 people in womens, mens or mixed categories
Who: Anybody with a reasonable level of fitness ... and an insatiable desire to give something new a go!
Course: SPECTACULAR!! It just keeps getting better and better - the final mountain bike course got the major wide-eyed, big grin and thumbs up all round from the crew who rode it a couple of weeks ago.
